Communicate effectively during design reviews, facilitate more efficient collaboration with project stakeholders, avoid costly mistakes, and drive alignment faster.

Get all project stakeholders on the same page

Design reviews take place throughout the entire lifecycle of a project. Without a shared, collaborative environment, it takes a lot of time and effort for decisions to get made. That’s where Unity Reflect Review comes in. Easily bring your design models into an immersive experience in AR and VR to facilitate interactive real-time design reviews.

  1. Unity MARS, our new AR authoring environment, solves the most common pain points for AR creators across industries. Its specialized tools and streamlined workflow enable users to unlock the next generation of AR experiences.
  2. In this video we look at a number of techniques useful for creating immersive AR (augmented reality) content including light estimation, realtime reflections.

How it works

With a link to the original BIM models, Unity Reflect Review enables you to collaborate in real-time. Bring Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Rhino projects into real-time 3D for multiuser collaboration on any device, anywhere.

Thanks to the streamlined integration of ARCore Cloud Anchors with Unity, this goal was easily achieved. Cloud Anchors give developers the ability to create AR apps that share a common frame of reference, allowing multiple users to place content in the same physical location.

Identify mistakes earlier

Bring multiple models and their metadata together to facilitate more efficient collaboration with project stakeholders, catch mistakes early, and avoid costly rework.

Faster decision-making

Generate interactive, immersive experiences that are linked to the original design models in Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Rhino.

Drive alignment

Drive alignment around design decisions and enable better contextual understanding among all project stakeholders to avoid misunderstandings and design errors downstream.

Any platform, anywhere

The ability to make changes to projects on-premise or in the cloud enables greater collaboration with users outside of your network. View large models on any device or platform, including VR, AR, iOS, Android, PC, and Mac.

Communicate design intent

Conduct sun studies, overlay models in 1:1 AR at scale, and filter BIM data to effectively communicate design intent to stakeholders.

Enable more aha moments

Create immersive, multiuser environments to perform collaborative project walkthroughs in VR and AR. Experience a model before it’s built and see what other users are seeing in real-time.

'With Unity Reflect Review, stakeholders are able to visualize the designs a lot easier, and physically walk around the space and interact with them.'

“It integrates with the software we already use like Revit, Navisworks, Rhino, and SketchUp, maintains a live connection to the original models, and allows our clients and collaborators to see changes in real-time in AR and VR.”
